The Bobcat Football team will create strong academic leaders in the community instilling a culture of Trust, Respect, Work-ethic, and Social responsibility while pursuing Athletic Excellence at Burns Middle School.

The pillar of the Burns community is the Bobcat football team and all athletes of Burns Middle School. 

3.                        Sportsmanship

Display sportsmanship during games at practice at all times.  Show respect to opponents, officials, and fans no matter what.

4.                        Teachable and Coachable

Be respectful of teachers and coaches and have willingness to listen and learn

5.                        Honesty and Trustworthiness

Accept the responsibilities of being a teammate and trust each other on the field and in the locker room.

An achievement of excellence requires a commitment to total effort and practice participation.
