Star Student of the Week

 
 
Autumn Mangrum is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Laura Ferrell's second grade class. 
What is your favorite thing about school? Math...because we get to add two-digit numbers.
If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? New York because I like skyscrapers.
What do you like about your teacher?  I like the way she teaches math and reading.
What are your hobbies?  What do you like to do for fun?  painting and playing outside
What do you want to be when you grow up? a teacher
Mrs. Ferrell says, "Autumn is a dependable and hard-working student.  She is always there for her classmates, if they need a lift or assistance.  Autumn truly does the right things because they're the right things to do.  She is a joy to teach and I'm grateful to have such an all-around great kid in my class."

Derek Trotter is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Tananda Lovitt's third grade class. 
What is your favorite thing about school? I like to learn stuff from my teacher and be with her and my friends. If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? France
What do you like about your teacher?  She is really nice and I like learning with her.
What are your hobbies?  What do you like to do for fun?  I like to ride my bike, read books, and play the X-box. What do you want to be when you grow up? an archeologist
Mrs. Lovitt says, "Derek works hard for me everyday.  He is always prepared and does the right thing because it's the right thing to do.  Derek is very kind and caring and watches out for others.  I hope his classmates are honored to have him as a friend, because I am honored to have him in my class!"

Oct 15-19

Henry Ramos Valle is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Mandi Archer's Kindergarten class. 
What is your favorite thing about school? Doing our work centers
If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? Disneyworld
What do you like about your teacher?  She has tablets and toys.
What are your hobbies?  What do you like to do for fun?  Play with toys
What do you want to be when you grow up? A police officer
Mrs. Archer says, "Henry is an exceptional student.  He always tries his best, and goes above and beyond what is expected.  He always has a positive attitude, and is a fabulous friend.  Henry is always on task and does phenomenal work.  I love Henry's determination, dedication to complete his school work, and his sense of humor.  Thank you Henry for setting a great example for others."

Makaylee Cole is the Star Student of the Week from Miss Lori Buhler's fifth grade class. 
What is your favorite thing about school? Science
If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? Paris, France
What do you like about your teacher?  She is nice.
What are your hobbies?  What do you like to do for fun?  I play softball.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A Science teacher
Miss Buhler says, "Makaylee is responsible, hard-working, and considerate of others.  She does helpful things without seeking praise.  I can always count on Makaylee to do the right thing and make smart choices."

Abi Varden is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. April Gossett's fourth grade class. 
What is your favorite thing about school? my friends and learning new things
If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? I would go to Canada.
What do you like about your teacher?  She is kind and helpful.
What are your hobbies?  What do you like to do for fun?  I like to play video games for fun, drawing is a hobby.
What do you want to be when you grow up? a programmer for technology
Mrs. Gossett says, "Abi is a joy to teach!  She is eager to learn new things and always participates in class activities.  She is kind and compassionate towards her classmates.  She always takes the initiative to do the right thing, even when no one else is looking.  Abi is a true example of a well-rounded good citizen."

Kaden Grigsby is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Pam Dwyer's fourth grade class. 
What is your favorite thing about school? P.E.
If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? Washington, D.C. to see the White House.
What do you like about your teacher?  She is nice and fun!
What are your hobbies?  What do you like to do for fun?  play sports and ride an electric scooter
What do you want to be when you grow up? NFL player
Mrs. Dwyer says, "Kaden is a star student for the kindness that he shows, for being a quality worker, and for being honest and willing to help in any situation.  He is a lovable student that comes to school every day with a big smile.  I am very proud to have him in my class, and cannot wait to see him succeed in his fourth grade year."

Kaia Eisele is the Star Student of the Week from Miss Montana Harris's third grade class. 
What is your favorite thing about school? Reading
If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? Africa to see zebras
What do you like about your teacher?  She is funny and nice!
What are your hobbies?  What do you like to do for fun?  Reading, playing the play station, and spending time with Mom and Dad.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Softball player
Miss Harris says, "Kaia is an outstanding student.  She always pays attention and loves to participate in group discussions.  She gives 100% all the time.  She is a great friend to her classmates.  I am very thankful to have such a great student in my class."

Allie Brown is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Sarah Carter's second grade class. 
What is your favorite thing about school? Reading
If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? Africa because I love lions.
What do you like about your teacher?  She is very nice!
What are your hobbies?  What do you like to do for fun?  Reading
What do you want to be when you grow up? A librarian
Mrs. Carter says, "Every morning, Allie greets me with a 'good morning' and a smile on her face.  She is kind and considerate to her teachers and peers.  She listens to her classmates and demonstrates outstanding citizenship by her willingness to assist her classmates when needed.  She puts forth genuine academic effort through individual work as well as group discussions.  Allie is a joy to have in class."

Audrey King is the Star Student of the Week from Mrs. Jenny Burgess's first grade class. 
What is your favorite thing about school? I love Math!
If you could travel to any place in the world, where would you go? Disneyland or Disney World - either would be fun.
What do you like about your teacher?  She is very nice!
What are your hobbies?  What do you like to do for fun?  Swimming, playing with family, reading and writing.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A nurse
Mrs. Burgess says, "Audrey is such a role model inside and outside of the classroom.  She always puts other's feelings ahead of her own.  She always gives 110% and strives to do her best everyday.  Audrey's personality shines daily through her kind, sweet, and caring ways!  She is a star."
