I have been a Dickson Police Officer since June 2001. I taught DARE at Oakmont Elementary and really enjoyed getting to know those children, so I applied for the School Resource Officer position. I have been a School Resource Officer since August 2011. I started at the Dickson County High School my first year and came to Dickson Middle School the next year. I have enjoyed getting to know these children and love watching them grow.

Teacher Assistant

I am very happy to be starting a new year at DMS. I am very honored and very happy to be a Special Education Assistant Teacher. I love working with children, and if you can make a difference in a child's life, it is such a rewarding and blessed feeling!

I also have children and grandchildren of my own. I am very happy and privileged to be helping raise two of my grandchildren now; they live with us. I love spending time with my family and my friends. I also have my school family and it's a beautiful blessing to be able to do it all.  Life is precious and I want to enjoy every minute of it. If I can just touch someone's life in a positive way, I feel I am doing my job. I look forward to this year and the years to come!

I really enjoy working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives. I take it as a honor and priviledge to have the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child. I look forward to learning and growing with the students that I come in contact with each and everyday.
