I went to school in Dickson County. I attended the Tennessee Technology Center and studied Payroll and Accounting. On completion, I went to work for Dickson County Schools. I have worked as a Computer Lab Assistant, an Attendance Secretary, and prior to coming to Sullivan Central, I was I have the Bookkeeper for Dickson Elementary School for 19 years. I was married for 44 years I am now a widow. I have 2 children, a daughter and a son. I also have 3 grandsons. I enjoy traveling, and my favorite place to be is the beach.

My name is Vicky Williams Brooksher. I started work at Dickson Elementary in 1996. I started as a cafeteria monitor. I did that for about 3 years. I then was offered the ISS position and accepted. I went to Dickson Vocational School learning Basic and Intermediate Computer Skills offered by Dickson County Schools. I was offered Computer Lab Instructor in 2002 by Donnie Spann and accepted. It's been an honor to be able to work where I went to school as a child and then later my children went to school at DES as well. As of the 2019 -2020 school year I accepted the Computer Lab Instructor at Sullivan Central Elementary. I look forward to meeting the new students.

I have previously taught middle school math, 3rd, 5th, and was a music teacher/band director. I am married and have 5 children: Austin, Rachel, Cole, Courtney, and Cody. My students call me Ms. Alison. I'm an interventionist for Sullivan Central Elementary School. I’ve lived in Waverly all of my life and received my early education in that community. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in the spring of 2016. I have been a substitute teacher, 1st grade teacher, and library assistant. The library assistant position allowed me to work in RTI for grades Kindergarten through 4th grade. I’m a proud aunt of two nephews and one niece. My household consists of two dogs, a cat, and several chickens. I have many hobbies. My favorite is studying and photographing the wildlife of Tennessee. I’m especially fond of insects. Prior to Sullivan, I taught Title 1 and 4th grade math/science/social studies at Centennial Elementary in Dickson County. I received my Master's in Teaching from Trevecca Nazarene University and my undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. My husband teaches 4th grade in Cheatham county, where we live with our blended family. Between us we have four children. Our oldest son recently joined the Army and is in the process of completing his basic training. Our lives literally revolve around education and serving the communities within which we live and work. When we are not teaching or attending local sporting events, we enjoy peaceful days with our pets on our small farm. I have been an Instructional Coach since 2016. I am passionate about literacy instruction, and in my teaching experience in various grades I have found reading to be the key to learning and success for students. I am married to Blake Kruse, and we have three sons: Collins, and Garrett and Grant, who are twins. We also have three friendly dogs: Jada, Bella and Angel. I am married to a wonderful man named Taylor, and we have a daughter named Kaylynn. In my free time I like to watch Netflix and search Pinterest for ways to improve my house! I spent the last 4 years teaching 5th grade writing and homeroom science at Oakmont Elementary. I was born in California, raised in Arizona, and married into Tennessee. I currently live in McEwen with my husband Travis. We have a son and a daughter, Austin and Isabelle (Izzy). I have 1 dog (Duke) and 1 cat (Baby). Interesting facts: I can water ski, and I have been to almost all 50 states except South Dakota, North Dakota, Hawaii, and Alaska. I love to cook and read. I was born and raised in Dickson County. I graduated from DCHS. I have experience in Early Childhood Education through the TECTA program at Austin Peay State University. I also attended classes at MTSU. I have worked in the Dickson County School District since 2007. I spent the first 6 years as a substitute teacher. I was at Dickson Middle School as an educational assistant from 2013-2019. I am now a special education assistant at Sullivan Central. I love seeing my students actively learning and having fun while they do it. My hobbies include reading, spending time with friends and family, and watching sports. My favorite football teams are the Titans and the Volunteers. I like soccer, basketball, and watching the DCHS Cougar teams. I am thankful to be a part of Sullivan Central Elementary! I attended Dickson schools from K-12 and graduated from DCHS. I am married and have 4 children: 3 boys and 1 girl.  I am also a mother of 7 dogs and 8 cats.  I have been a part of the Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue family for many years. I also have a Master’s in Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Previously, I taught 3rd grade for several years and then worked part-time as a reading interventionist at Charlotte Elementary. I have also taught Kindergarten and 5th grade. My husband’s name is Chris, and we have one son, Nicolas. We also have three non-biological children. We have hosted several exchange students the last three years and I love and view them as my own children. We hosted a boy from Austria and one from Germany and also hosted a girl last year from Spain. We also have two dogs, Titan and Bella, that we love. Our family has lived all over the world as both myself and my husband were in the Army. One of my favorite hobbies is traveling with my family, both in the United States and outside the U.S. Thanks to the military we have traveled all over the world. Prior to teaching art, I worked as a professional artist from my home, selling my paintings in galleries and art shows. I was also very involved with the Roxy Regional Theatre in Clarksville, TN where I acted, directed, and designed sets. I came from Dickson Elementary where I began teaching art in 2018. I am so excited to be a part of the team at SCES! I have a daughter named Posey.
