Summer Reading Lists

Kids who read excel in other subjects as well. If your child continues to read throughout the summer months, it prevents backslide and promotes retention of reading skills learned throughout the year. Here is a list of the suggested reading for each grade level for Dickson County Schools. Don't foget, DC Library also has a summer reading program that has many free events and activities for your child to do as well. The summer reading recommendations are provided "at a glance" below, or you can download the list by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
