Kindergarten

Back to School!

School starts back Thursday, August 1st, and with a new school year comes the need for new school supplies. The following list  names the supplies your child needs to be prepared for class. Don't forget to come see us at Open House on Sunday, July 28th from 2:00 to 4:00! It is the best time to meet your teacher and go ahead and grab your paperwork.
 
Reminder: Tax free weekend is July 26-28, 2019.

The kids call me Mrs. Mandi. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2014. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 6 years and have been at Centennial for 6 years. My favorite thing about my job is seeing the "ah-ha!" moments with 5 and 6 year olds. I have 1 child, a son. "Those that know, do. Those who understand, teach." - Aristotle

The kids call me Ms. Tammy. I graduated from The University of North Alabama in 1991. I have been teaching kindergarten for 25 years and have been at Centennial for the past 10 years. My favorite thing about my job is helping young children become readers!

The kids call me Ms. Amy. I graduated from Emmaus Bible College in 2000 and got my masters from Trevecca. This is my 17th year teaching Kindergarten. I have taught in Iowa and also Kingston Springs Elementary. This is my 12th year at Centennial where I love to teach! My favorite thing about my job is seeing each child grow a tremendous amount from the beginning to the end. I love the relationship I have with each student. My students will ALWAYS be "my kids"! The kids call me Mrs. Janessa. I graduated from UT Martin in 2009. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 10 years and have been at Centennial for 9 years. My favorite thing about my job is working with the little ones and helping them reach their full potential. The growth that is seen in Kindergarten is so amazing and there is nothing better than hearing them learning to read! I am married and have 2 children, my daughter Jacie and her new baby brother Tripp.

The kids call me Mrs. Ashley. I graduated from University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2003. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 14 years and have been at Centennial for 17 years. Before that, I taught Second Grade. My favorite thing about my job is teaching kids the beginning stages of reading. I am married and have 2 children.

The kids call me Mrs. Beth. I graduated from West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 19 years and have been at Centennial for 19 years. Before that, I taught K, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 all over the Southeast for 18 years. My favorite thing about my job is talking to 5 year olds every day!
