The kids call me Nurse Shelia. I graduated from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. I have been a nurse for 11 years and have been at Centennial for 2 1/2 years.  My favorite thing about my job is getting to know the students and making them smile. I am married and have 1 child. “Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’"

The kids call me Mrs. Susie. I graduated from DCHS in 1986. I have been at Centennial for 14 years. My current position is Attendance Secretary. Before that, I was an educational assistant for 10 years. My favorite thing about my job is meeting parents and being a part of their children's lives. I am married and have 1 child.

The kids call me Mrs. T. I graduated from MTSU in 1995. I have been a bookkeeper for 3 years and have been at Centennial for 10 years. My favorite thing about my job is the faculty and staff at Centennial. I am married and have 2 children. "Hakuna Matata" – The Lion King

The kids call me Mrs. Sallie. I have been ISS Monitor for 3 years and have been at Centennial for 3 years. Before that, I was a Title 1 Assistant and Computer Lab Instructor at Oakmont Elementary for 7 years. My favorite thing about my job is giving students the opportunity to regroup and succeed in class. I have been married to Tim for 34 years and have 2 children. "Let it Be" - The Beatles

Instructional Coach
The kids call me Mrs. Kitzie. I earned a Masters Degree from Belmont University in 2010. This is my first year as the instructional coach for Centennial Elementary. Before that, I taught both Kindergarten and second grade for three years, respectively. My favorite thing about my job is connecting with families each year. We gain new students each year and gain new families as well. I am married and have three children, Jack, McCall, and Ford.

The kids call me Ms. Rita. I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1975 and The University of Tennessee in 1980. I have been teaching Title 1 as an Interventionist for 4 years and have been at Centennial for 4 years. Before that, I taught for 38 years. My favorite thing about my job is helping students be successful. I am married and have 1child."Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." -Helen Keller
