Michelle Prieur named Assistant Principal for Burns Middle School

Michelle Prieur is a 1990 graduate of Dickson County High School. She has spent her educational career serving the communities of Vanleer and Charlotte teaching 3rd, 4th and 5th grades as well as serving as an instructional coach. She accepted her first administrative position at Dickson Intermediate School by serving as assistant principal for the past three years. Mrs. Prieur has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a Masters in Administration and Leadership from Tennessee State University. Her educational belief is that all students can learn, given a positive learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, a committed and focused educational team, an encouraging community, and a supportive family. She looks forward to getting to know every student and every student getting to know her as well as continuing her career at Burns Middle School. She and her family are excited about serving the community of Burns.
