Sara Cunningham is native to Charlotte, TN and a 1999 graduate of Dickson County High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Austin Peay State University and her Masters in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University as an Ayers Fellow.
Mrs. Cunningham taught 4th and 5th grades at White Bluff Elementary and Vanleer Elementary. Her first year out of the classroom she spent as an interventionist at Vanleer Elementary School and an instructional coach at The Discovery School and Stuart Burns Elementary. She has served as an instructional coach for the past seven years at Vanleer Elementary School. She also served as VES’s RTI Manager for the past two years.
Mrs. Cunningham is devoted to her husband, Trent, and her three children, Jack (14) and twin daughters, Mady and Macy (10). She is a member of Walnut Street Church of Christ.
Mrs. Cunningham is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the community she grew up in. She is excited to be a part of the faculty and staff at CES and to contribute to the great work being done there!
