Amanda Roche - Principal of New Elementary School

I graduated from Dickson County High School in 1984. I received my BS in Education from David Lipscomb University in 1988 and my MA in Supervision and Administration from Austin Peay in 1992. My first year of teaching was at Dickson Junior High. The remainder of my teaching experience was at Dickson Elementary where I taught 4th, 5th and 6th grades. I served as the full time assistant principal at Dickson Elementary for six years and the principal for five years. I believe in providing a caring, respectful environment which meets all students where they are and gives them the necessary support for academic growth and continued character development needed now and in the future. My husband, Tom, and I have been married for 19 years. We have one son, Gavin, who will be graduating from high school in May. I look forward to the new challenges associated with my appointment as principal of the new elementary school for the 2019-20 school year.
