Announcements
Junior Civitan will meet
during Called Clubs on Thursday, 10/25, in room #110. This meeting is for
officers, current members and those interested in joining.Dues are $20 and
should be paid immediately.
The Art Club will be hosting
a Bring Your Own Pumpkin carving event after school Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30
outside rm 400. We will also paint signs for Haunting on the Hill. See any art
teacher for more details.
Play cuts will be held
Wednesday October 24th at the end of CP. All Seniors will be in act bubble fest and
will not be able to purchase a ticket.
Play cuts will be open to all freshmen, sophomores and juniors. Play cut tickets will be sold during lunch
today and tomorrow. Only those
purchasing a ticket will be allowed to attend play cuts.
Tri-M will hold its new
member meeting on today at 3:15 in the choir room. All students who have
received invitations are encouraged to attend.
The French Club is placing a
second order for t-shirts. Deadline is Tues. For more information, please see a
sponsor
Forensics team members: Sign
ups are available for the Henry County tournament on Saturday, November 3. The
deadline to sign up is Friday, October 26.
Juniors, don't forget
sign-ups for college trips are open through Wednesday at 3:00. Follow the link on the DCHS website calendar to
choose your top three choices. Don't let
the deadline to sign up pass you by. If
you have any questions please see Mrs. Fortner.
DCHS History Club Members can
pick up their club t-shirts in room 309.
The history club is asking all of its members to bring a bag of
individually wrapped candy to room 309 Ms Bryant or 514 Ms. Howington for
Haunting on the Hill. Thank you in
advance and Please avoid candy with peanuts.

Bowling Teams hosts creek wood at 345 at the bowl a rena.
DCHS Fishing Team had a great
regional tournament this weekend. Congrats
to Dylan Jones and Dylan Fowler for getting Big Fish of the tournament as well
as placing 25th in the overall tournament.
DCHS Team Standings for Percy
Priest Tournament. 1st Dylan Jones and
Dylan Fowler with 5.10 pounds-- 25th Place overall in tournament. 2nd Harrison Terry and Luke Clifton with 4.01
pounds. 3rd Sam Clifton and Gage Holt
with 2.83 pounds. 4th Nick Cox and
Tanner Brown with 2.38 pounds. DCHS
