Class of 2019 – Just a
reminder seniors you are taking a National ACT today. Your scores are reported
to colleges and scholarship organizations.
Students remember to:
1. This is a FREE opportunity to take the ACT during the school
day!
2. You must have an ACT score to graduate. It is a state
graduation requirement! We have had
students in the past to not get to walk
down the hill because they did not take the act.
3. Answer EVERY question in the time provided for that section
of the test. For example – If you have
ten unanswered questions at the end of test 2 and the room supervisor announces
“you have 5 minutes remaining” pick a letter and fill in circles for those 10
questions.
4. Pace yourself
5. Remember you need sharpened #2 pencils (no mechanical
pencils)
6. Calculators are allowed on the math section, but one is not
required
7. Leave cell phones, smart watches, fitness bands and any other
devices with recording, internet, communication or calculator capabilities at
home or in a safe location during the test. These items are not allowed in the
test room or in the hallway during break. Leave them in a safe location outside
of the test room.
This afternoon we will have
our reward day for achieving a level 5 school.
We will all get a free lunch today in the cafeteria and then have a play
day at the football stadium. Similar to
last year we will have several interactive games and inflatables to have fun
on. Congratulations on achieving the
highest level a school can receive!
