Come and experience the motivating strategies of Kim Sutton through Linda Wallace, a Kim Sutton Associate, as she explores how to build strong number sense with place value for grades K-5. Participants will learn how to teach the difficult concepts of place value like rounding, regrouping, multi-digit multiplication, and long division. Participants will experience effective literature, music, games, activities, and “hands on” manipulatives for this difficult concept in mathematics! All of Kim Sutton strategies are easy use and ready to be implemented! Place value has never been so exciting!
