Our new academic standards for science call for a renewed emphasis on the belief that "Students learn science by doing science." What exactly does this mean? What should this look like in a 3-5 classroom? This session will offer you an opportunity to be a scientist as we explore what you can do (and have your students do) to demonstrate learning in an engaging and purposeful way.
