incoming new Dragon Nation members touring our building all day today. Please be aware and make them feel welcome!
This week is
“Teacher Appreciation Week”! A week is
not long enough to reward all of your hard work, attention to our students and
your positive motivation day in and day out.
Please don’t forget to stop by the mail room for a sweet start to your
day! Today’s theme: “We have Muffin
to do but to celebrate and appreciate you”!
DMS summer
Basketball tryouts are today in our Gym.
Ladies 7th and 8th grade tryouts are from
3:30-4:30. DMS 8th grade boys
tryout from 6:00-7:30.
The DMS
Track Team competed in the TMSAA Sectional on Friday night at Riverdale High
School. Several athletes set new
personal bests. Mya Ricks – 100 Dash,
Autumn Duke-400 meter dash, Skylar Little-400 meter dash, Demarcus Springer –
100 and 200 meter dash. Brody Reynolds
broke his own school record and lowered it to a time of 5:30.21. Amy Elliott took down the girl’s middle
school 1600 meter record that had been held by Hannah Denton since 2008. She ran a new personal best of 5:54.77 to
place sixth in the very fast girl’s race.

would like to remind everyone that she has about 30 yearbooks left to
sell. Yearbooks will be in within 2
weeks and you do not want to miss out in getting one.

attending BMS next year and are interested in trying out for a sport the list
of tryout dates is posted in the front office.
