EVENT DETAILS

Today we are on “B” schedule and we are in “N” Dragon Time rotation. 

Today and Friday, are the performances of “Disco Knights”!  Show will start at 6:00 p.m. and tickets are $5.00.  You can purchase a ticket early during lunches the remainder of this week.  If you do purchase a ticket early, you must have it in hand at the door.  We cannot wait to see you there!

DMS football opens Spring Practice today for this upcoming season.  Players, the cookout portion of practice has been cancelled, everything else will go as scheduled. Football players are NOT to leave their classrooms for any reason until 2^nd bell.  Please do not release football players early unless you hear from Coach Proffitt.

Beta Club members who helped with the car wash fund raiser need to meet at Mr. Proffitt’s room during their lunch for a short meeting.  He will be handing out permission slips for the end of the year trip to see the Sounds for a day game on May 14^th.  We will be leaving school around 9:30 and returning around 2:30.

Mrs. Elliott would like to remind everyone that she has about 30 yearbooks left to sell.  Yearbooks will be in within 2 weeks and you do not want to miss out in getting one.

DMS Choir will meet today from 3:15 to 5:00.  Choir students, you will need to sit outside on the sidewalk next to the ramp to the 200 building to wait for Mr. Mason and Ms. Bragg after bus duty.  If there are indoor bus rooms, you will need to sit quietly against the wall outside of Mr. Speigner’s Art Classroom.

Tonight is the Lady Dragons softball 8^th Grade Night.  Game starts at 5:00 with 8^th grade celebration after Varsity with JV to follow.  We will be keeping an eye on the weather and will update about the game status before the end of the day.

If you are attending BMS next year and are interested in trying out for a sport the list of tryout dates is posted in the front office.

Friday will be our reward day celebration for effort displayed in TN Ready testing.  We will have DMS Play Cuts and then inflatables.  Logistics will be announced tomorrow.  Teachers will you please send your list of students who will not be eligible so we can plan supervision.
