Description:
Double dice are so popular with students of all grade levels and their teachers. The uniqueness of the double dice make students want to use them over and over again. Come prepared to play some of our favorite Box Cars games that incorporate the use of these motivating manipulatives. We use double regular, double 10-sided, double 12-sided and three-in-a-cube dice to teach the following concepts: all operations and fact fluency, order of operations, place value, fractions, data management and organization of data, statistics and probability. We will show you how to extend the games into math journal writing, pull assessment pieces, and how to provide math talk opportunities.
