Description:
Participants will gain an understanding of how to develop a student’s mathematical fluency in multiplication and division by engaging in hands-on activities. This session will explore the use of concrete, representational and abstract approaches through direct modeling, invented strategies and algorithms while discussing what instruction looks like and sounds like in the classroom.
