Today we are on “B” schedule and we are in “D” Dragon Time rotation.   

8th Graders Teachers, if you still have student surveys please return the completed surveys to the office as soon as possible.

Holiday World letters are in your mailboxes today to send home with 8th grade students.  There will be extras in the front office.  The deadline for returning money and these permission forms is April 16th.

8th grade tutoring will be held in room 129 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

DMS golf will have a parent meeting on Tuesday, February 19th at 4:00 p.m. at DMS in the cafeteria for parents of students who are interested in playing golf.  Tryouts will be Thursday, February 21st at Montgomery Bell from 3:30 to 4:15.

Today is Valentine’s Day and if you receive flowers or balloons, stuffed animals at school you cannot ride the bus home with them.  Please tag and bring to the office until the end of the day.

7th and 8th grade track tryouts will be on Monday, February 18th from 6:30-7:30 at the high school.

Amistad House members, your field trip permission forms have to be signed by a parent or guardian and returned to the folder in the front office no later than Friday, February 15th for you to be able to attend.

Yearbooks are on sale!!!  You can order your yearbook until March 1st.  The price is $35.00 and you can get your order form and pay your first period teacher.  There will only be a few extra books ordered so please don’t wait to order yours!  The cover has been revealed and it was designed by our own McClaren Stokes and it looks amazing!!

Our Valentine’s Dance is this Friday from 6-8 p.m. Admission is $5.00.  The theme of Friday’s dance is “Black and Red Bash”.  If you wear black or red you will be entered to win a prize.

Don’t forget the second annual Spring Blood Drive will be from 2-6:00 p.m. on March 26th, sponsored by Jr. Beta Club. A box is being place in the office for the depositing of donor forms.  At this point Taksh Patel has recruited the most donors.  Please help save a life!  Remember, Mr. Proffitt has the donor form in room 140.  Several teachers have already signed up to give and will take advantage of the week long jean pass.  The Red Cross is supplying a little treat, as well!

Don’t forget!!  Monday is a Holiday and we will not be in session.
