January 27 102-180We would like to congratulate Jeffery Addison, Emily Reid,
and Ian Castro for being selected to receive the Jersey Mike’s attendance
reward for having perfect attendance last week.
Last Thursday night at the Dickson County 4-H Speaking
competition, Burns Middle School was well represented: In the 8th
grade division Madelyn Pitney claimed 2nd place. In the 6th grade division Mallory
Keller took 3rd place and Griffin Pass won overall 1st
place and he will advance to the Sub-Regional Contest on February 18th. Good luck Griffin and congratulations to all
the Bobcats speakers who competed!
The Burns Middle School baseball team will have tryouts
Tuesday, February 4th from 6:15 to 8:15 at DCHS’s Shelby Rye
Field. You must have a sports physical
dated after April 15th, 2019.
The Burns Middle School softball team will have tryouts
Wednesday, January 29th from 4:30 to 6:30 and Thursday, January 30th
from 5:00 to 6:30. Both dates will be at
the Burns Little League fields.
