Arts and Crafts Club will meet tomorrow.  Please bring your white shirt.

 

There will be a Coding Club meeting tomorrow.  Please report to room 103 after the 3:05 bell.

 

Student Council will have our first official after school meeting this Friday, September 20th from 3:15 to 5:00.  Pickup is promptly at 5.  Student Council members will need to bring their money and paperwork for their t-shirt order and the workshop.  8th graders running for executive board will need to have their speeches prepared.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Baker in room 213. 

 

Burns Middle School’s 1st annual Family Fall Night will be Friday, September 27th from 5 to 8pm.  Our school has been planning a night full of fun activities.  There will be chili, chips, a drink, hot dogs, a dessert, and toppings for $5.00, sold in the cafeteria.  Also, we will have Funnel Cakes, an awesome silent auction, games, inflatables, face painting, and a dunking booth. Come out and show your Bobcat pride!

 

8th graders, we have extended the deadline to register for our trip to Washington D.C. till September 24th.

Next week, we will begin Homecoming Spirit Week to show our support of our Bobcats football team.  We encourage all to participate and show your Bobcat Pride.  Monday will be dress like a twin day, Tuesday will be Tourist day, Wednesday will be mis-match day, Thursday will be Team Spirit Day (6th grade wear black, 7th grade wear gray, and 8th grade wear red), and Friday will be hat day.  Look for signs posted in the hallways for a reminder.  Remember, dress code will still apply.

 

In Sports today: The Lady Bobcats soccer team will host Charbluff at DCHS.  Kick-off is set for 5:00.  The Bobcats football team will travel to Harpeth.  Kick-off for the JV is set for 5:00.  Kick-off for the varsity is set for 6:30.
