CWHS Booster Club BBQ/Jamboree will be Friday, Aug. 09. Gates will open at 4:30 and food may be bought by the plate or BBQ by the pound. Athletes at WJMS are to bring individual wrapped desserts for this event. We will be the only school to bring desserts so we need everyone to pitch in. CWHS Booster club generously gives a portion of the proceeds to WJMS. Let’s show them our support. WJMS will play at CMS at 5:15.
Breakfast and lunch will be free for this week and next week.
Golf: - Next match Aug. 12 at Centerville; Aug. 19 at MB; Aug. 26 at MB; 9/9 at Centerville for the district tournament
Football: Our first football game will be Thursday night at home against Hickman County. Let’s pack the stadium for our first home game.
Volleyball: Congratulations our V and JV teams. They defeated BMS in their home opener. The Lady Colonels will travel to Charlotte to play CMS on Thursday and will travel to Cumberland University on Friday for a weekend tournament.
Soccer:
Get ready for the Back to School Dance on Friday, Aug. 16 from 6-8. This is a casual dance. Admission to the dance is $5. Snacks and Drinks will be available to purchase.
Thought for the Day: The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention. Say something kind to at least three people today.
Parents:
7th Graders need their immunization shots and record of the immunization brought to school.
