CWHS Booster Club BBQ/Jamboree will be Friday, Aug. 09. Gates will open at 4:30 and food may be bought by the plate or BBQ by the pound. Athletes at WJMS are to bring individual wrapped desserts for this event. We will be the only school to bring desserts so we need everyone to pitch in. CWHS Booster club generously gives a portion of the proceeds to WJMS. Let’s show them our support. WJMS will play at CMS at 5:15.
Breakfast and lunch will be free this week and next week.
Cross Country: Practice today and tomorrow at CMS from 3:30 to 4:30. If you need to call a parent to let them know, please come to the office at lunch. There is no bus transportation to CMS. Next week practice will be at CWHS. Bus is available to travel to CWHS.
Golf: - Next match Aug. 12 at Centerville; Aug. 19 at MB; Aug. 26 at MB; 9/9 at Centerville for the district tournament
Football: Our first football game will be tonight at home against Hickman County. Let’s pack the stadium for our first home game.
Volleyball: The Lady Colonels will travel to Charlotte tonight to play CMS. They will travel to Cumberland University on Friday for a weekend tournament.
Soccer: Pre-Season Game tonight at BMS. Saturday a play date at CWHS.
Back to School Dance on Friday, Aug. 16 from 6-8. This is a casual dance. Admission to the dance is $5. Snacks and Drinks will be available to purchase.
Fund Raiser KICKOFF – August 14- Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to complete a new Audio/Projection system in our gym. We want to have a 243” diagonal electric screen with top of the line projection and audio features.
Students remember to come to the library today during your RTI time. Today’s feature is Internet Safety with Mr. Bogle.
