Biographical Information:
I was born and raised in Dickson County. I am a 2003 graduate of Dickson County High School. I attended Austin Peay State University. I started out as an education major but changed to nursing. I graduated in 2007. I started working with Dickson County Schools in 2017 and took the permanent position as school nurse for Charlotte Middle School and New Directions Academy in March of 2018. I have two kids that I adore. Baleigh is ten and Logan is nine. In my free time I love spending time with my kids, friends, and family, especially my niece Sophia and nephew Hudson. I have absolutely fallen in love with being the school nurse at both schools. I love that I never know what's going to happen, but love that the kids and parents trust me to take care of any issues. I never knew how much love my heart could hold for over five hundred kids. I believe all kids deserve to be happy, healthy, and safe. Knowing that I can help them with one of those components makes me feel like I've accomplished something. "You can't educate a child who isn't healthy, and you can't keep a child healthy who isn't educated."
