Jonny attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in English and Secondary Education in 2014. He began his teaching career with Dickson County Schools in 2014 serving Creek Wood High School as an English teacher. Since then, he has served in many roles both academically and athletically.
He furthered his education by earning a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University in 2017. Currently, he serves as the Department Chair for the English Department as well as the Athletic Director while teaching English courses and coaching football.
Jonny, a 2009 graduate of Creek Wood High School, and his wife Amber live in Cumberland Furnace with their two children, Abigail and Brooks. Coach Palmore's dedication to the school and community runs deep, and he's thrilled to continue serving Creek Wood High School. His commitment extends to every student's success, as well as the overall well-being of the school and staff.
