Congratulations, Mrs. Amber Potter - New Dickson County Schools' Secondary Instructional Coordinator

Amber Potter is a native of Dickson County and has over twenty years of experience as an educator. Mrs. Potter began her teaching career at Sequoyah Elementary in Knoxville before moving back to middle Tennessee to teach kindergarten and fourth grade at East Hickman Elementary. During her tenure in Dickson County, she taught at Stuart-Burns Elementary, The Discovery School, and has spent the last nine years proudly serving as the instructional coach for Dickson Middle School.

After graduating from Dickson County High School in 1988, Mrs. Potter received a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Mrs. Potter is married to Timothy Potter, and they have three adult children.

Mrs. Potter is excited for the opportunity to work with and support Dickson County’s secondary teachers and leaders.
