The mission of DCDLA is to provide support for student-oriented learning through a high-quality, rigorous education. 

DCDLA's vision is to be a leader in educating students anywhere, anytime as they pursue their own success.

The Dickson County Distance Learning Academy is a program provided by the Dickson County School System to offer educational options for parents of Dickson County students.  The program is designed to utilize certified teachers and the curriculum standards which have been adopted by the State of Tennessee Board of Education.  The use of these standards assures parents the same educational instruction is being provided through this platform as in the traditional classrooms.
