The threat was made to the Dickson County Public Schools in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
The city of Dickson police in TN has not identified any credible threat toward schools in Dickson County TN.

Congratulations to Lora Deiter (WJMS), Jennifer Hohl (DMS), and Cecily Gaither (CMS) for having 100% of their 8th grade Algebra 1 students meeting or exceeding expectations on the Spring 2025 EOC. Dickson County 8th grade Algebra students ranked 4th out of 49 districts for highest achievement scores in the state. We are so proud of these students & teachers for their hard work last year!

Leslie Christy, New Principal at Creek Wood High School
With 25 years of service in Dickson County Schools, Leslie Christy brings experience, a passion for education, and a deep commitment to community. She began her career at Stuart-Burns Elementary, where she spent 12 years as a classroom teacher. She then served as an instructional coach for four years before joining Creek Wood High School as assistant principal, a role she held for seven years. For the past two years, Mrs. Christy has led White Bluff Elementary as principal.
Mrs. Christy holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Bethel University. She and her husband, Brandon, are parents of twins, Carson and Anna Claire, who graduated from Creek Wood High School in 2023.
A longtime resident of White Bluff, Mrs. Christy is excited to return to Creek Wood as principal. She looks forward to reconnecting with students, families, and staff and continuing the strong tradition of excellence at CWHS.

The graduation ceremony for Dickson County High School will be moved to 6:00 pm this evening due to potential rain.
All seniors need to report to Dickson County High School no later than 4:45 pm. The seniors will begin their traditional walk down the hill at approximately 5:45 pm. We will continue to monitor the weather. We appreciate your understanding to make this a memorable and enjoyable night for all of our seniors and their families.
