Happy National School Nurse Day, and we want to send a massive thank you to the incredible nurses across our district!
Our nurses do everything from managing daily health needs and chronic conditions to providing a comforting smile and a band-aid when it’s needed most, our nurses are the heart of our schools. They keep our students healthy, safe, and ready to learn every single day. 🩹👩⚕️

The Drug Free Dickson Coalition, TN Department of Health, and local student support sponsors are proud to host "Break the Silence: Youth Mental Health Night." This event aims to equip families with local resources and practical tools for supporting youth mental wellness. We invite all community members to join us for an evening of connection and advocacy. A look at this week! Color Run Field Trip for K, 1st, 2nd and 5th on Monday, May 4th - Students are asked to wear water shoes or sandals that can get wet. Students will need to bring sunscreen, a change of clothes, towel, and water bottle. Concessions will not be available - please do not send money.
Also, appropriate swim wear is required. Boys must wear rash guards on the top and Girls must wear shorts.

Correction to May calendar:
5th graders will also go to the splash pad on Monday, May 4th due to their field trip to the Clement Railroad Museum on May 15th. Departure time is 9:30.

It is that time! We start our TCAP assessments tomorrow, Friday, April 17th!
Please help us by:
⭐️ - Ensure your students are present and on time to school.
⭐️ - Fuel them up with a healthy and hearty breakfast. Breakfast is FREE in the cafeteria on all testing days!
⭐️ - Create a calm body and mind for your students through adequate sleep and positive comments.
We hope this schedule and testing tips help your family feel prepared to tackle testing!

This week at CES! One more week until spring break!

Monday is Kindergarten Cap & Gown picture day! Order forms will come home with proofs after a week to 10 days.
Join us this evening for Family Game Night! Food Trucks will be here at 4:30. Games start at 5:30! It’s going to be a fun evening - we can’t wait to see everyone!
