Katherine Perez

Mrs. Perez is honored to serve the DCHS community. She is passionate about student learning, supporting both students and staff, and strongly believes in the importance of building strong community relationships.

Mrs. Perez began her educational career as a classroom teacher at Oakmont Elementary; then, later served as instructional coach at Centennial Elementary.  For the past six years, she has held a leadership role as Assistant Principal of Dickson County High School. 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Tennessee Tech University, a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership from Bethel University, and an Ed.S. degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. Mrs. Perez is committed to fostering a school culture where every student at DCHS is encouraged, challenged, and prepared for success beyond graduation.  

As a proud alumni of DCHS and a lifelong resident of Dickson County, Mrs. Perez is excited to serve DCHS as Principal.  She and her husband, Josh, are raising their two children in Dickson County, and they are proud to be part of the Dickson community.  Mrs. Perez looks forward to strengthening Cougar Pride among students, staff, and the community.
