Parents,

Thank you for the confidence you have demonstrated in allowing the Dickson County School System to work with your student. We have had a wonderful start to the school year and look forward to the success we will find throughout the school year.

You should be aware by now of the requirement for all seventh grade students to have documented immunizations for the following:
• Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis booster
• verification of immunity to varicella including two (2) doses or a history of the disease

The system wants to avoid students not attending school due to the failure to comply. However, state law will not allow your student to attend school if they have failed to comply on or before September 3, 2025.

If you have a 7th grader and have not turned in the state immunization record, please do so by September 3, 2025. If you have any questions please call the school at 615-740-6060.
