This week at NDA
We are all looking forward to the 26-27 school year. During your time at NDA if there is anything we can do to help your child or your family please let someone on staff know. We will do our best to find you resources to help. My email is rmason@dcstn.org. We are here to support you and your child however we can. Our doors open at 7:00 am and school starts at 7:45 am. We will begin dismissal at 2:45 pm and by 4:00 pm the building is empty. We are a stop on your family's journey that was not expected but we hope when we leave your family's world is better off.
We are looking forward to the 2026-2027 School year. Open house is just around the corner. Please come by and see us. Let us know how summer went, and if there is anything we can do to help you start this school year the best way possible.

Happy National School Nurse Day, and we want to send a massive thank you to the incredible nurses across our district!
Our nurses do everything from managing daily health needs and chronic conditions to providing a comforting smile and a band-aid when it’s needed most, our nurses are the heart of our schools. They keep our students healthy, safe, and ready to learn every single day. 🩹👩⚕️

The Drug Free Dickson Coalition, TN Department of Health, and local student support sponsors are proud to host "Break the Silence: Youth Mental Health Night." This event aims to equip families with local resources and practical tools for supporting youth mental wellness. We invite all community members to join us for an evening of connection and advocacy. NDA this week
I hope all families enjoy the long weekend. We will not have school on Monday the 16th of February. On Tuesday the 17th we will have Parent Teacher Conferences from 3 pm-6pm. Progress reports went home today. We hope to see you all Tuesday evening. If you cannot attend please reach out to your child's teacher or the main office and we will get everyone connected.
