the Hill planning meeting in the front cafeteria at 3:30 on Wednesday, October
17.
DCHS HOSA will be hosting a PINK
OUT football game this Friday, the 19th.
Please Join the fight against breast cancer by purchasing a PINK OUT
t-shirt. You can purchase a t-shirt during lunch or see a Health Science
teacher. The cost is 15.00. All proceeds will go to the American Breast
Cancer Society. Pink Out for the
CURE!!! Making strides to SAVE

Any HOSA or FBLA student
attending the Titans Learning Lab Field Trip tomorrow should meet in Room 711
at 7:30. School dress code applies. No backpacks or bags will be allowed into
Nissan Stadium.
Benefits Inc. is sponsoring a
special concert of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra this Saturday at 7:00 PM in
the concert hall of the Renaissance Center.
This concert is free and open to the public. Also, our own Dickson County High School
Concert Choir will perform a preconcert in the Rotunda at 6:00 prior to the
symphony concert. All are invited.
Over fall break, the DCHS
Forensics Team competed at the White House High School and Ravenwood High School
tournaments. At White House, Graham Buchanan placed 2nd in extemporaneous
speaking and Ali Hughes placed 5th in poetry. At Ravenwood, Rebecca Jackson
placed 5th in poetry, Ali Hughes placed 5th in program oral interpretation, and
Anna VanGorder placed 6th in poetry.
Any DC Junior interested in
the Summer 2020 trip to Europe, you have until the end of day today to sign

Today in sports
A BIG Congratulations goes
out the Lady Cougar Soccer for bringing home the District 11-AAA Soccer
Championship! The last time the Lady
Cougars were in a District Championship
game was 2009 and the last time they won a District Championship was 1997. The Lady Cougars defeated Hillsboro, 2-1 in
the Semifinals last Tuesday and then Cane Ridge, 3-1 in the District 11-AAA
Final last Thursday. The following Lady Cougars were selected to the All
District 11-AAA Team: Payton Louth, Jade Giordano, Rylee Reynolds, Samantha
Deems, and Sarah Woodard. Kylea Heath was voted District 11-AAA Goal Keeper of the Year! Kelsie Wall was voted the District 11-AAA
Player of the Year! Coach Cardona was awarded the District 11-AAA Coach of the
Year!
The following Lady Cougars
were selected to the District 11-AAA All Tournament Team: Annabeth Woodard, Jade Giordano, Rylee
Reynolds, and Bella Cardona. Kylea Heath was selected the Defensive MVP of the
District 11-AAA Tournament! Kelsie Wall
was selected the MVP of the District 11-AAA Tournament!
The Lady Cougars currently
have a record of 12-4-1. The Lady
Cougars will host Brentwood High School in a Region 6 Semifinal Match, this
Tuesday at 6:00. Please come out and support the ladies on Tomorrow night!
Our Lady cougar volleyball team
finished their season over fall break with a loss to ravenwood in the region
semifinals. Our lady cougar volleyball
team finished with a school record overall win-loss record. Kacey Donegan and Maddie Perez made all
District, Spencer Sensing made District MVP. Maddie and Spencer All Tournament,
Kacey was named Tournament MVP. Congrats
to coach Robertson and staff and the entire team for representing our school so
well this year.
We will be on a regular
schedule today. During cp we will have game changer sessions.
