In addition to student recognitions, the Board also highlighted an important partnership focused on student safety. Director of Student Health Mary Morrow was joined by Kathy Hickerson and Wyatt Chocolate to recognize and thank Horizon Medical Center for their generous contribution of 16 new Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

These AEDs will be utilized across the district’s athletic programs, helping ensure that an AED is accessible within three minutes at any home athletic event. The devices are also designed to travel with coaches, further enhancing safety measures for student-athletes both on and off campus.

Dickson County Schools is grateful for the partnership with Horizon Medical Center and the continued commitment to student safety.
