Parents & Students

Dear Parents:

Our school messaging system for attendance has been repaired, and we will be using it this week to make automatic calls regarding attendance. It will choose students turned in absent and call the parent to make sure you are aware that the student was turned in absent. You may get a call even if you checked your child in late. If you do get a call after bringing your child to school late, please ignore the message. Always listen to the message before calling the front office.

In order to clear unexcused absences, students must turn in a parent note or doctor note. Please always send this note the first day your student returns to school.

If you get a message and you believe there is an error and your student is, in fact, at school, please e-mail Ms. Joslin at njoslin@dcbe.org. If you are unable to e-mail, please call the front office at 615-740-5775. We will verify and correct any errors.

Thanks for all you do to make sure your student is here and on time. We appreciate your assistance.

Welcome

Dear White Bluff Elementary Students, Staff and Parents:

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! Our mission at White Bluff Elementary is to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will encourage the love of learning while preparing students for success in life.

Our goals at WBES are simple yet effective:

  1. Academic Excellence

  2. Continuous Improvement

  3. Technology Integration

  4. Parent Involvement

  5. Exemplary Status

Please know that we recognize that school may look a little bit differently than in previous years, but what is not different is our excitement about teaching your children, our commitment to academic excellence, or our plan to make safety our first priority. Thank you for trusting us with your children.

I wish you all a wonderful school year. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. I can also be reached at abeaubien@dcstn or 615.740.5775.

I am honored to serve as your principal.

Sincerely,

Andrea Beaubien
