Our School



	The Discovery School was established in 1999 and is home to 212 of the best students in Dickson County. Our success lies in our size and “family friendly” atmosphere. Parent involvement is a key component to the success our students' experiences during their elementary school years. Our staff of 34 full and part-time employees strives to individualize the learning of each of our students in order to make every day count! We spend each day thinking and discovering, with the desire that everyone will succeed!

The mission of The Discovery School is to empower students to become responsible and self-disciplined citizens, to encourage a spirit of discovery and exploration, to meet local and state standards, and to be academically prepared for middle school.
