Second Grade Math, Science, and Social Studies Teacher
My students call me Mrs. Lovitt. I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Master’s in Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s in English. I have been teaching since 2015. During my Master’s program, I taught 4th grade math and science for one semester. I have taught 3rd grade for 4 years. I taught one year in Mississippi and three years at Centennial. My husband Keith and I have one son named Tucker. When I have time, I like to scrapbook, swim, and go camping. I love spending time with my family! “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”
Savannah Redferrin

Second Grade Math, Science, and Social Studies Teacher
My students call me Ms. Savannah. I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Austin Peay State University. I have been teaching since 2012, with most of my experience teaching 4th grade. I have two great danes, Yeti and Cabela. I also have a hospice foster kitty, Teacup. During my spare time, I enjoy volunteering with animal rescues, cooking, DIY projects, and spending time with my puppies. “Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.”
Jennifer Salley

Second Grade English and Language Arts Teacher
My students call me Mrs. Salley. I received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Master’s in Music, both from Austin Peay State University. I have been in education since 1999, with positions being in middle school music and band, SPED PreK assistant, and an elementary school teacher. I’ve spent 4 years in children’s ministry. My husband’s name is Dan, and we have two sons, Luke and Ben. We also have 2 Dachshunds, 3 cats, and lots of fish. My hobbies include hiking, camping, reading, volunteering with Tennessee Dachshund Rescue, and gardening. “Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.” ~A.A. Milne
Warren, Serena
Second Grade English and Language Arts Teacher
My students call me Ms. Serena. I attended the University of North Alabama and completed my education degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin. I have been teaching since 2003. I have taught 2nd grade for the majority of the time. I have been at Oakmont teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade since 2004. I taught one year of 3rd grade at Waverly Elementary in my hometown. My husband’s name is Jason, and we have 3 dogs. I like creating unique vinyl designs on T-shirts, make tumblers, and read in my spare time. “If you can believe it, you can achieve it.”
