I'm a retired Major, United States Air Force. I served 20 years, including a year in Iraq and a year in Afghanistan. I worked with juveniles at the Jackson Academy from 1988-1992, and I always wanted to return to the calling. I began substitute teaching after my AF retirement, and I was hired as a special ed assistant at CES shortly afterwards. My wife, Alice, and I live in Charlotte with our three children. It's good to be home!

I taught 12 years in Hopkinsville, KY and moved to Dickson, TN in the summer of 2019. I love my Charlotte Elementary Family and enjoy every second of being at my new home. I am so blessed and honored be apart of such a wonderful loving family. I was recently married in July of 2019 to my husband Scott and we have four wonderful children, Libby, Conner, Jack, and Molly. We also have three dogs, Toby, Charlotte, and Jep and one cat named Leo.

I enjoy keeping my brain active and learning by reading, trying new skills or hobbies. You can find me outside when the weather is nice, simply reading or going for a walk! I especially love spending time in the North Woods of Wisconsin during the summer time and being with my family.Oh and I am a huge Packers fan!! I've been teaching at CES the past two years and it is such a wonderful school with inspirational people busting at its seams! I walk through this school with a smile on my face and could not be happier to be here!

They started Kindergarten last year, and I was hired at CES. My husband and I have been married for 20 years. We live on a farm and raise tobacco and cattle. When I am not teaching, we LOVE watching the Nashville Predators play hockey! I also enjoy spending time with my family, working in my yard, traveling, camping, and being outside.

I am a proud momma of two beautiful children. I love playing music and the outdoors. I was a office manager for ten years and then made the choice to be a stay at home mom to be with my daughter who was diagnosed with cerbral palsy. After seven years as a stay at home I decided to be a substitute teacher. After a year I was offered a position as a assistant. I have never been so happy. I feel this is where i was meant to be. I'm blessed that I can wake up every morning and make a difference in someones life.

I was born and raised in Tennessee. This will be my tenth year to teach. I have taught seventh grade, third grade, and Kindergarten. Kindergarten is by far my favorite! My faith is very important to me! In my spare time I love to spend time with my family on the farm, be with my friends, sit on the front porch and listen to the creek, go on walks, ride horses, go camping, read, cook/bake, and attend sporting events. I am a Tennessee Vols and Nashville Predators fan! I love my CES work family!

I am a Nashville native who closely migrated to Dickson County 5 years ago. I have a little boy, Nate, who was born February 2020. He is my pride and joy. If you have me as your teacher, you will learn a lot about him because I am slightly obsessed :) I enjoy being on the farm with my mother - working cows, harvesting hay, collecting chicken eggs, riding horses, and hunting.  I love to travel - mostly to the Caribbean islands. I love to play basketball. I enjoy cheering on the Tennessee Vols football team, as well as the Tennessee Titans. I am looking forward to teaching our 5th grade Distant Learning students this year.
