Below is a chart showing the current enrollment in each grade level at each school, the anticipated enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year, how many students are currently attending who are out of zone, and how many out-of-zone seats will be available for the 2025-2026 school year. This number only represents the seats available for students who are not zoned for that school. Anyone zoned for that specific school is eligible to enroll at any time.
The application for out-of-zone seats will open May 1 and will remain open through May 31. Applications should be turned in at the Dickson County Schools Central Office. The Elementary or Secondary Director will review and either approve or deny the application. If more applications are received than seats available at each school and grade level, then a lottery will be conducted to determine to whom those seats will be allotted. If you have a child attending a school out of zone, then siblings will be approved regardless of the number of seats available, as long as the child’s discipline, attendance, and grades remain satisfactory. Communication will be sent to families no later than July 1 with a final decision about an out-of-zone placement.
Kindergarten numbers will be posted June 1 and Out-of-Zone applications for Kindergarten will be accepted June 15 through July 15.
Students must maintain satisfactory attendance, behavior, and grades to remain in the new school.
